Week 14 ~ “COOL RUNNINGS!”

I so enjoyed watching this movie after having seen it several years ago.

First of all, it’s filmed in Calgary, Canada – I’m very proud to be a Canadian!

But… though I was really motivated by it those years ago, to actually HEAR the MKMMA tenets vocalized, and presented in such a powerful way was amazing!  Such a vivid example of those truths.  And WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BELIEVE THEM AND GO IN FAITH TO DO YOUR GOALS NO MATTER WHAT.

This was a very timely piece for me and I felt just affirmed to the moon with the application and visual and story of it.

We have everything before us and what is behind is that which we learn from and build on.  As adults we get to choose what works for us and what we are driven to pursue,  and toss out that which doesn’t work of ‘input’ from early days.  We are in process – we are CREATING our future and BUILDING our dreams. Going where we have not gone before.

Scary and crazy AWESOME!!  Reach forward, claim your future  as you see it, and never give up until you get there.  Satisfaction guaranteed!

 

 

Week 12 ~ MKMMA ~Well, MUCH Better Late, than never!

I am so thrilled to have had a major breakthrough so to be clear on my PPN ~ the thing that gives me joy and is thrilling.  That which my heart longs to do.  Revealed clearly.  I embrace this exciting clearness to myself. Thank you God for your patience and my perseverance!

When Mark said in the pre-session intro video he TOUCHES, the grass and TOUCHES THE BENCH and breathes the salt air, feels the breeze, smells the cologne,  a vision popped into my head and I got it!   Until that moment, the clarity was not there – guess I should say, the AFFIRMATION from my GUT to my HEART to my HEAD. In unison!

I saw myself holding my book, hugging it to my breast, holding it out, fanning the pages, reading the credits, seeing the title and my name as author.  Joy unbounded.  All the senses came together in ONE focus and I am proceeding with getting my book published!

I am connected to my purpose.  That is a terrific sensation to my whole self!  Thank you God.   Thank you Mark and Davene and crew for the tremendous program you have and are putting together.  It is a pleasure to be involved.  I haven’t always felt too pleasant about it as I have struggled with my own inner self, and with some of the process BUT it comes together now and that is just fine.

So I happily hand in my DMP for the  ?th time knowing I am on the road I am to take ~ focused.

To those still struggling, keep at it.  There will be a breakthrough!

With great Hope, and Excitement in the Find!

I may look the same, but I am changed and feel wonderfully different!

“You are a Promise, You are a Possibility….”

Boy isn’t that the truth!

It’s us that needs to put the shoulder to the plough and work hard.  All the courses, and webinars, and audio-visual presentations, books to fill a room do NOT do the trick.

It’s Us.  It’s me that really wants my dream, my goal so powerfully, and with such determination and commitment, and openness to the HOW of it.   I must Figure it Out.  Know what I want and find a way with work and service to others, to make it happen.

I appreciate the MKMMA course very much as it really makes me focus and make the changes necessary to achieve success.

We must turn off the voices from within and without that sabotage our journeys, and replace them with what it is we do want, hope for, see it done, build a plan of action and accomplish that goal.  Taking it from the mind to a physical reality.  That’s our job.  Love this next picture.

So Open your mind and Follow your heart.  Nobody knows your heart except you and God and sometimes only God!  But we CAN seek what it is that we are put here to do.  What is YOUR Purpose in the Grand Scheme of Things?

 

Are those Devices for Good or for Harm?

Really can hardly bear to see the amount of time others in my home waste on TV and other devices.  So little ‘life production’.

A friend of mine is very ill and her life may well be affected for ever.  Our neighbour is a young man of 50+, terminally ill with cancer, just living in pain.   They so would love to be living more, better, longer, ‘weller’.

How many newscasts, talk shows, car shows, garden shows, cook shows can one possibly stand?   In my mind I visualize our TV gone, or no cable, just dvds.

Then there are the devices.  Oh the devices.  I imagine ‘Creativity’  slunk away a long time ago, going down to the garden to eat worms or something, as nobody allows him entrance and expression.

We have separated our imagination and creativity from our real selves and are so ‘full’ of busyness that we don’t even know ourselves, and how can we know others.  They are also not being who they are.  So we live in pseudo relationships so much of the time, bumping into each other occasionally like ships in the night.

Oh for realness.  I am making discoveries about myself, in the MKMMA course, my relationship with God and its’ outworking.  What is truth, Who is THE Truth, who decides what the truth is.  Very important questions to ask.  And there are answers!  That’s good.

Dear Lord.  Here he is.  You have such a plan and purpose for him and I pray he does not rest until he finds it.  Bless him and his parents and brothers.  Keep them safe and may they know You closer and closer as the  years go by.  Amen

My Love can OPEN Hearts… and Repulse the Arrows of Hate…and Anger…Wk 8 MKMMA

My weapon is LOVE to OPEN HEARTS and my SHIELD to repulse the arrows of hate and the spears of anger that would hurt my heart of love.

“Adversity and discouragement will beat against my new shield and become as the softest of rains…. Then one day, I will cast it aside and walk unencumbered among all….”  ***

I have never thought of Love as that which forms a protection for me from those things that are without.   It provides a barrier or boundary to repel that which bombards from without and to care for and protect the person, self, within its’ territory.  Similar to why we lock our doors at night.  Not that we hate everyone outside, but we love and protect those within.

I will ‘zealously’ protect myself.  Love myself and inspect all things which enter my body, soul, mind and heart.  I will not overindulge the requests of my flesh.  I will also be fully connected to life and know what is coming OUT of my mouth, behaviors, attitudes.  Scripture says it is what comes OUT of the mouth that defiles it.  What’s good for me and does not harm or offend anyone else is my guideline.

Then, in due time, when the lessons are learned, I will not need that protection and will cast it aside.  I will be stronger and give and receive love freely.

Right now, I must get my beauty sleep.  I’m crashing.  It’s been a great day of discovery.  God is good.  Nite everyone.

 

 

“Cannot I speak with the same music to His children?” Wk 7

Yes.  Yes.  And YES!

I can and I will speak, sing, discuss, share, write and live His music to the world for the blessing of those to whom I come in contact.

This includes bringing pots of soup to sick neighbours,  visiting those in hospital, calling the shut ins, singing wherever it can bless.  BE there for the comfort and care of those who are longing for and needy of that.

There are hundreds of ways to bless folks.  A smile, a hug, picking up something that was dropped and handing it to the owner.  Giving a ride, a backrub, a meal. Holding someone who is near their death.  Grieving with people who are grieving. Laughing your head off with someone at a joke, or a true story that is just too funny. Praying with folks.  Reading to them.

It’s just awesome HOW meaningful these small gestures are to folks who are longing for just a touch of care and love.

A little boy was in bed for the night when the storm outside raged, branches blew against the window, lightning flashed and thunder crashed.   He got up and went downstairs where his mother comforted him and as he went back up to bed, she said, “Don’t be afraid son, God is with you.”   He was unable to settle as the storm continued.   Much later, still not sleeping and frightened, he called his mom.  He told her, “I know you said God was with me, but sometimes I need someone with skin on.”

Sometimes people need US.  US.  We who can offer ourselves to bring help and cheer.  Let your light shine.  BE God with skin on to those who need His touch.  They will know you and Him better.

May each of my readers hear His music, and share it everywhere.

I’ve thought about love considerably over the years.  To really love.  Love seeks an object.  Love ~ real love ~ is a rare commodity these days.  The word love is bandied about.  We love baseball, fishing, music, pizza, travelling and justice, to mention a few things.  But the highest delight of love is to know and love God, and love others with that love that He pours out to us and through us.

Love always seeks the good of the other.  In our dealings are we patient, kind,  wanting great success for others?   Do we crow like roosters with our amazing accomplishments?  Are we rudely pushing to have our own way?

Do we flare up when something ticks us off?   Do we want to pay back in kind, or get even?    Love does not rejoice when there is wrongdoing, but is thrilled with the truth.

Love bears (holds up) under all things,  has an attitude of belief, a positive receiving circuitry,  chooses an outlook of hopefulness in the face of life’s real struggles.  Hope Endures the ups and downs of life.

It seems to me that this kind of love comes in a sort of cluster ~ all those separate attitudes are actually one unit.   Because real love, this ‘cluster’ kind of love never fails.

And what is the character and purpose of real love?   Love is an action word.  It seeks the good of the other.  Spouse, child, parents, boss, community members. How do we from an attitude of the Love Cluster, truly love all these?   One might say then that we need to fulfill our responsibility to them in a full and complete manner with a ‘Love Cluster’ heart, whatever that role might be.  That’s the minimum.

But love is to go the extra mile too.  Love is to love and act according to the other’s need.  My spouse needs me differently than my neighbour,  but there may be times when much more than usual is required.  A Park Ranger recently rescued a man who was unconscious and drowning.  It was a risky terrifying thing to do.  More than most of us could have or would have done.   People risking life and limb for the good of others.

There’s a cost when one loves.  It’s about laying your agenda aside and doing what is needed.  Dare I say it ~ It can cost your life.  What do you give for the sake of love?

“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”  John 15:12 & 13 ………….

Yes.  It’s amazing.  I have to move on to Scroll 2 in “The Greatest Salesman in the World”.  The only thing is, I have come to love Scroll 1.  To know what each page is bringing me, and enjoy it each time through.

Oh, I’ve not felt like reading it sometimes, but even so, it always speaks to me.  “I have lived like an onion plant.”**  Sure did hit me.   I want to leave a rich, legacy  of great character examples to my children and grandchildren.  And I’m an Onion.  But then, there is a place for onions!   However no onion ~ no-how ~ is a substitute for the mighty trees of the evergreen forests.

So, I switch highways.  I’m on the evergreen route!  It is not so quick and simple, but rugged and demanding, and stretching of previously experienced abilities, drawing from me starch and strength when it was long ago spent.  But the DRIVE and the energy is available to complete that which is assigned in the path I take.

I am happy and satisfied.  I am doing my Best.   I will do even Better.

What is YOUR relationship with YOU?

I’ve been thinking lately that so much that comes out of another’s speech and manner is representative of how they manage life, difficulties, frustrations, and things around that are actually positive.   It is not necessarily reflective of what may have happened between two people, but is the chosen response ~ to blame or criticize, or put down, or go to the ‘poor me’ place.

It is a blessing to be able to see it as their own choice, and not to own it.  Let it be the other person’s.  It’s OK.  Keep your, keep my peaceful heart and just enjoy the freedom!

So I am finding myself strangely and happily detached from such displays.  AND it feels good, is much more peaceful for all concerned.  I don’t have to take on what is not mine, nor do I have to deny and defend when I am truly needing to change something.

Then I need to own it ~ freely ~ clearly ~ make it right ~ learn.  This is what life is all about.  Freedom to live and learn for myself and others.
